What if I tell you something RIGHT NOW 
that is SO SIMPLE and SO EFFECTIVE that you will feel it the very first time.

 

If you want to turn left,
TURN YOUR WAIST to the left !
If you want to turn right
TURN YOUR WAIST to the right !
Your skis will follow your waist !

 

Does carving two skis sound good ?

 

Here’s how it works:
 Even with the most amazing shaped skis, most people only think they’re
 carving, but they’re not.

 

“Track analysis” is only way to figure out whether 
or not you’re carving.

 

Make some turns, then climb up and look at your 
tracks. Most people skid and wash out in the beginning of the turn;
 they carve only the outside ski through the middle of the turn (but skid the inside ski);
 and then they don’t finish the turn, meaning they barely come across the fall line.


Track analysis is the key indicator of clean carved turns. If the tracks are messy, the turn was messy.

 

Look at my tracks in the picture to the right. They are perfect.
 This is a short-radius turn on 186cm Fischer GS skis.
 This turn did not require counter-rotation, extreme edge angles, or superhuman strength.
